"I've been researching it. You're mistreating it, just look at it."

He looks at it. Is it obvious how it's feeling?

Not really.

He doesn't, actually, have the legal authority to arrest anyone here, or even to conduct an investigation. 

"Why don't you let it choose who it wants to go with? I can be a" do they even have judges here "neutral arboriculture."

It makes a sound kind of like the sound of bubbles underwater.

"Yeah, no. We'll be leaving now. Unless you want to try to stop us?"

The one holding the Munna makes towards the doorway.

He's standing in the doorway, blocking their path.

"If you insist."

Chirp chirp!

"Ugh. Fine. I guess we have to do this the hard way."

The one who's not holding the Munna sends out a purple cat. 

"Amadelphous, use Double Slap!"

Unlike Sebastian, she can tell what the Munna is saying. She charges at the Purrloin with full force.

Unfortunately, this also means she's a little off-balance; she barrels past it into a table.

"Purrloin, use Scratch!"

The cat scratches at Amadelphous, not very aggressively.

"Oh, come on, can't you hit harder than that?"

"Try again, Amadelphous! Double Slap!"

She slaps the Purrloin twice. 

The Purrloin meows.

"Scratch it again, and this time try harder!"

The Purrloin scratches Amadelphous again. It's not really much harder.

"Keep hitting it, Amadelphous!"

This time, she's oriented enough that she can just keep slapping it. It goes down after three punches.

"Ugh, I'm so sick of this useless Pokémon!" says the one with the Purrloin

The one holding the Munna rolls his eyes and shoves it at the other one. "Here, you hold it and I'll show you how it's done. Patrat, let's teach this kid a lesson!"

"Amadelphous, keep using Double Slap!"

She slaps the Patrat, twice. 

"Patrat! Tackle!"

The Patrat rushes towards Amadelphous and tries to tackle her. It's hitting a little harder than the cat was, but she looks pretty unfazed. 

"Double Slap until it's down!"

She's losing a little bit of steam, but she gets three more slaps off, and the Patrat falls unconscious.

"Ugh! Here's your money for winning the fight, can you let us go now?"

"What's wrong? Aren't you going to send out that Munna, if you're so confident it wants to go with you?"
