In Godspring, there appears a winged girl.
They head into the main bar. "Cam, can you get the door -"
Minor arranged for the signal strength to be perfectly good as long as the door was open. "There you go," he says to her. "Let me know when you'd like to head home." And to Cam - "can I have another circle -"
And here is a bland explanation about making a list would she like to be on it.
" - ah. I feel like there are a couple Elf kingdoms in Endorë that solicited permission from their gods to pay demons however they pleased, and the gods sent them back a confused - let me look it up -" he does - "yeah they cleared it. I would feel comfortable having that on a list, at least. Gender and species preferences?"
"Girls. Humans are fine as long as they have all their teeth and so on. Or let me fix it, I know how to do that sort of thing. Orcs and Dwarves aren't really very attractive, maybe some of them are. Elves are, right? I haven't seen one in person and the pictures look kind of edited honestly. And those angely people are nice enough looking."
"The pictures probably weren't edited Elves just kind of look like that. The angely people are a secret, do you mind helping me keep them that way?"
"They've got a local magic system. Doesn't work for anyone else, we've been trying ever since we found out about them. It lets them teleport between dimensions. They all seem neat enough to me, I don't think it'll be a big deal, but two guesses how all the human governments would react to learning there're people who, once they die, will be loose daeva -"
"Exactly. So if we just don't mention the angely people to anyone, they don't have to flip the fuck out and everything's fine."
"Only a couple daeva got summoned there before we explained. I've been offering them all outrageous bribery."
"Ha. Well, I like it when people don't flip out, there's already enough of that."
