Elsewhere he schedules another meeting in Singapore.

The interstellar coordinator always has time for the prince of the Noldor, of course.

"Hello. One of these days I look forward to coming to you with good news. There's a new world discovered. It's called Beach. They discovered us. They have interdimensional transit."

"...is that bad news? Are they hostile? There are certainly people who don't like relying on Valar for portals."

"They're friendly. The magic does not appear to be shareable. We tentatively expect they'll keep it if they daevafy. Given that, we would have hesitated to teach them summoning, but they teleported around and did some espionage and picked it up on their own."

"...Oh. Well, we can adjust the prison bindings - you should probably notify the SSA too, don't want people technically the summoners of wandering daeva getting up to goodness knows what."

"I'll stop by there next. It's not just a question of bindings, though, a Beach daeva could just leave the daeva realms and come here without a summons, at-will."

"So we're going to need an arrangement whereby Valar can perform arrests in our world."

"Yep. Not yet, we explained these concerns to the people of Beach and they agreed to stop summoning in exchange for support in finding another means of achieving immortality - the Valar can make them unaging, but not invulnerable - but eventually some of the ones who summoned before we persuaded them to stop will die and by then you will want a Vala arrest procedure."

"I'll start working on Chua; let me know if I need to go into emergency mode - you will know when one dies?"

"Checking every half hour. We could try to double the demons on staff and check every fifteen minutes but we don't actually have limitless ways to pay them and we bribed a bunch to forget they were summoned to Beach."

"Did they only summon demons?"

"Nope - all three until they were confident in who had the fastest response time, then switched exclusively to fairies - but we're hoping that fairies or angels curious about the new world they were summoned to have fewer means of following up. We're monitoring their communications in case they write a friend in Hell asking, but that's not a common occurrence."

"They don't have to write a friend; Hell conjures up copies of the Fairyland and Hell internets as a matter of routine."

"If they write about it we'll know. And, ah, have a way to make the written works retroactively unconjurable, Beach magic does that too."

"...even electronic copies?"

"Testing in progress, might depend on format. They'd probably have to do each copy individually."

"Then that's not going to help at all if it gets on a public forum and a million fairies have it on their server caches and want to know where it went when they can't find it again."

"It would not. It's not my call but I think they'd do time-travel if it came to that."

Nod. "Some fairies and angels have chiplock installations, picked up on summons or even installed via actual invasive surgery, do you have a way to pick up on that?"

"We do not."

"If you have the wherewithal to further bribe them and this doesn't increase the risk they decide it's interesting... Actually, why are you focused on demons in particular knowing about it?"

"Separately from the daeva travel concerns, the population of Beach hatches from eggs."

"Oh."

"I'll look into whether bribing the relevant angels and fairies is tractable but the demons were a bigger immediate concern."
