The Valar announce that they've done as much as they can in Singularity (they can't bring back peoples' babies in that critical period either, but they can get them earlier versions) and are setting up portals between there and Sanity as soon as they are confident they've cleaned up the plague. A bunch of Elf architects have this wild idea for a fivedimensional city where alternating intersections are interdimensional portals between various Valinors and they get eagerly to setting it up.
That's fairly promising for it not being a zoo summons. He will scratch out key bits of binding while she's out anyway, because trying to get Minor dismissed is much harder than arranging for him not to be trapped in the first place. "But don't give her a heart attack, okay?"
"I will pretend to be a very gagged demon until she starts being a jerk, promise." Are any of the other circles live for him horrible -
Here is the lady's living room! She is in the kitchen and doesn't notice right away.
She looks over her shoulder. "Oh! I was beginning to imagine you'd never show! Now you, young man, have been very irresponsible with those dragons, I know you just get little bites and heal up in a hot second but the boys and girls and whatnots watching you aren't so lucky and they're going to go up to strange dogs or worse go catch themselves alligators or ask a demon for a tyrannosaur egg and try to keep the dinosaur as a pet and next thing you know some little elementary schooler is waiting in line for the medical angels to rebuild their hand or worse because you make it look like such fun to play with aggressive strong animals and you don't mind getting chomped so why should they? And you ought to have known better by your age -"
She goes on like that.
Demon pretends to be gagged and only rolls his eyes a little, Timothy should be so proud of him.
She will add a fifteen minute digression about displaying respectful attention when your elders tell you that you've gone wrong, then.
It's almost as bad as History of Magic. ...except probably she won't actually beat him for not listening. Going back to Hazel is going to be so weird.
And when she is out of things to say, she goes and gets him a book of crochet patterns and puts it in his hands and tells him to make his little girlfriend something nice and then she dismisses him.
- that's almost endearing. He writes Timothy to say he's okay and didn't talk at all. He gets a video of demons flying around a crowded cityscape in Hell.
- he's actually not that far from where Celendra and Olivia live, he writes them asking if they'd mind if he dropped by.
Celendra does not mind but Olivia is very shy and he should not expect her to talk.
The TV is on and Olivia is drinking juice and watching cartoon characters. Celendra lets him in.
"If Olivia or you happen to want to not be summonable, I know someone who could arrange that."
