"I'd appreciate it. Thank you."

Fairy goes and asks. He answers his circle.

"Hi. Thank you for coming. Is there any chance that before you go meet her I can get an affadavit or something about what happened, for the trial -"

"Did it take them that long to catch her? She killed me, that's what."

"Didn't answer the circles for a couple years. She has a good attorney and it looks like it'll be something of a high-profile case, a statement would be really helpful."

"I don't know what you want me to say besides that she killed me."

"That's all, just in front of some people who can witness and notarize it and stuff."

"They have to usually be able to handle murder trials without consulting the victim, don't they?"

"Well, we're getting a portal to Limbo, so not anymore."

"Huh. Well. How's Agnes doing?"

"Told me it wasn't a very funny joke. I suppose I should have expected that."

Sigh.

"Shall we head over there?"

"Yeah, all right, she still live in the same house?"

He gives an address.

"Yeah, same place. Do I have to bring you, or -?"

"You have to be accompanied, yeah. I think I can stay outside the house."

So the fairy brings him along and goes and lets himself in.

And he informs their attorneys that the victim answered a summons so he could talk to his wife but was disinclined to have any involvement with the proceedings.

Can he take a picture of him? Unchiplocked?

Sure, that's easy.

That'll be admissible as evidence and can be dated by a forensics demon, then.

He arranges to take a picture when the fairy's done speaking with Agnes.

He stomps out of the house five minutes later, looking furious.

Picture. "Doesn't believe you either?"
