The Valar announce that they've done as much as they can in Singularity (they can't bring back peoples' babies in that critical period either, but they can get them earlier versions) and are setting up portals between there and Sanity as soon as they are confident they've cleaned up the plague. A bunch of Elf architects have this wild idea for a fivedimensional city where alternating intersections are interdimensional portals between various Valinors and they get eagerly to setting it up.
Unfortunately people are not always honest and she can't take their word for it about not taking summonses. Plus he could grab one by accident, doesn't he have all those circles open for him now?
If she wanted to leave him unable to use his magic she wouldn't need to trick him into taking a summons.
He is less concerned about being demagicked than about being trapped again it was terrible he has nightmares.
He just wants to go home he won't hurt anybody he just wants to go home why won't she let him go home.
Because he won't agree to then take a summons keeping him there. It'll make all the annoying open summons go away, too, he won't have to worry about accidentally grabbing one.
He hasn't! They've been there for a couple decades and he's never grabbed one!
They're terrible and why should he think she's not just trying to get him to take one that's exactly the same so he will be TRAPPED FOREVER?
Because if she wanted him trapped forever she would just do that. But she doesn't want that, it's horrible and cruel.
Other people are scared too; they're scared he'll do it again. This way means no one needs to be scared ever again.
She has noticed. Being scared might explain why you hurt other people, and it might be reassuring on the question of whether you'll hurt other people again, but it doesn't mean that there will be no consequences for hurting other people.
Is she going to experience any consequences for kidnapping him? Or that poor screaming angel, what did she do to him, that's very alarming come to think of it.
The demon is not super sure of that. He will go sit with the screamy angel and be upset.
He waits for the GCP people to verify that they had an unbound demon running around.
They determine that the demon was not technically unbound but was definitely inadequately bound and not escorted by his summoner. If Maitimo knew about this why didn't he say?
