The Valar announce that they've done as much as they can in Singularity (they can't bring back peoples' babies in that critical period either, but they can get them earlier versions) and are setting up portals between there and Sanity as soon as they are confident they've cleaned up the plague. A bunch of Elf architects have this wild idea for a fivedimensional city where alternating intersections are interdimensional portals between various Valinors and they get eagerly to setting it up.
The recently acquitted assisted-suicide demon. The GCP will continue to attempt arrest of any daeva in similar situations, since it would be easy for even a forensically written-by-ostensible-author suicide note to be produced under duress, and will attempt to establish whether the suicide was in fact voluntary, but given this judicial precedent they will no longer pursue murder charges if they are satisfied that it was so.
He'll compose a notice for an Earth-focused newspaper in Hell that given this policy, demons willing to assist suicides should request permission to record the conversation.
And he'll hang out quietly and periodically check views on the video and wait for anything interesting to happen.
There are plenty of views on the video, but he doesn't have a way to tell if any of them are coming from Singapore unless he wants to directly sniff their packets.
He's not sure how. He'll sneak into a room the next time the door opens enough, instead.
(He should start learning Apparition early, since the major risks don't apply.)
Next time someone leaves their office for fresh air, he can see that one of their tabs is open to his channel.
The person comes back, shuts the door, and sits down. They play some Tetris and check their email.
They have a lot of email. They also manage the GCP's Shortform acccount, apparently. (1/2) We greatly regret to hear of the accident in Topeka. However, angelic (2/2) medical error is not a circling offense unless a credential is falsfied
(1/2) Happy International Fairy Appreciation Day! Remember to always (2/2) observe standard safety precautions even around routine trips.
...does he reply if asked on Shortform true that GCP arrests daeva for claiming there's an afterlife?
The employee's computer dings. They go look at the message and reply False; see for example @ArchGabe of Deseret Ministries
(@ArchGabe replies Families are forever!)
The response is a link to the GCP press release about the Austrian girl's death. It includes a picture of her sobbing parents, and the paragraph, The Ganymede Circle Police have placed a warrant for the arrest of demon "Minor Finis Way" whose vlog (formerly CineMe, now independently hosted) Pichler frequently watched. It is believed that this channel's insistence that summoners become daeva upon death led her to take her own life. The encouragement to suicide is forbidden by all Terrestrial law even since the right to suicide was established. At time of release the circles remained unanswered.
...he makes an account in his own name and replies. She's a fairy. Sorry parents sad but not their call, hers.
@ArchGabe seems to think he's invited to the conversation now and replies God's plan is never suicide!
The GCP account doesn't reply.
don't think kids should daevafy on purpose but don't want to achieve that by lying to them
GCP employee checks email again. Calls their wife; dinner is deep fried dumplings.
He figures he'll try for a couple days and if they have no conversations indicating why the coverup he'll go back to videos.
The GCP employee goes and watches his channel! They scroll through the comments, frowning.
The employee goes and knocks on another door. They are let in.
"What's up?"
"The angel with all the fake henna, can we raise her?"
"No, we think she's on summon."
"...where, with that poor kid's family?"
"Probably. We aren't authorized to pester them about it though."
