"I know, right? It's so cool to be athletic without really trying! Even if it's kind of cheating, I was never in it for the 'cheivos anyway. Do you read superhero stuff?"

"Not particularly, why?"

"I totally do and have the constant urge to rank us all on power ranking systems. I think they make a nice shorthand. Oh well."

"Well, if you want to quiz me about my magical arsenal I'm game."

"So, I have gravity. It's basically elaborate telekinesis. I also have a bunch of minor powers, including a weird one that gives me vague prophecies. The minor powers add up quick don't they? I don't have much durability, but I have a reallllly cool one that means I don't really need it! I can be in two places at once!"

"Oh damn that's a cool one! What's it like to be in two places at once?"

"I have to absorb myself back to see what the other me was doing, which is always a bit trippy. And I don't get anything if one of the not-original-mes pops. And they're weaker. But I make great scouts. I can push it up way higher, but then I get so fragile a papercut will pop one of me. I like doing pair gymnastics by myself, though, it's fun. I can be a whole cheer squad!"

"Ooh, fun. I have the psychic specialty which is sort of unfortunate in a way because I think half the stuff it does is unethical but at least I get to defend against all that unethical stuff from other parties, and then I've got the wayfinding one and the overworld shift and the one where I don't need to eat or breathe much and Cosmic Heal and Escape Mechanism."

"Ooh, healing! I have a boost to awareness - spidey sense - Oh, don't be alarmed if I turn into a dragon lady if things get really bad."

"Complete with wings? Neato."

"Uh, no wings. And it's nnnnot actually a fun time."

"Ah. Less neato on both counts."

"It's saved my butt at least once, though!"

"I am glad of it! Did Puchuu tell you about the vampire situation yet?"

"Oof, vampire? Nah, just that there's probably something very bad at J.B.L.M. to not poke around myself. The one time I poked around against their advice I regretted it so shrug. I kind of want to steal a tank but that's damningly irresponsible even for me."

"That's why they wanted to recruit a psychic, so I can hedge out the mindwhammy thing," Bella explains.

"Makes sense. Mindwhammy is kind of... Save or die, so I'm sure we'll all appreciate it being defended."

"Hopefully I don't die five minutes in or something embarrassing like that! I'd like to have a strategic plan A before going in even if the vampire will inevitably fuck it up."

"I mean, the answer to that is training. Lots of training so you have an instinctive reaction to things. And knowing when to run away. Cherry, that's my Puchuu, and his buddies go for thorough spying when they're actually worried about something, so we can plan to drop out of the Overworld right on top of it or something. Honestly, Tanya's gonna be doing the heavy lifting. As usual."

"Tanya's really cool. And she gave me a loan to supplement my build with too!"

"Wow, lucky. She's kind of a badass but... All work and no play. And you've never seen her mad..."

"Eh, I like to have fun but I also like to get things done efficiently, I can respect a workaholic."

"I guess. Anyway, the original reason I called was to see if you want to run Titanium's obstacle course! We can't really give you magic practice and I don't really want my mind messed with by a novice, but we can help a little!"

"I would love a shot at an obstacle course! Where is it, when's good?"

She rattles off an address, a small town further south in Washington. 

"She spends most every day there since it's also a workshop. Don't go past the warning signs. Pretty much any time is good!"
