"Hmm."

"It's what I do. Trust me."

With all of their shopping done, the city awaits.

"Anything you want to see in town?"

"Is there anything interesting?"

The city continues to contain shops, bars, headquarters, barracks, courts, workshops, and residences, as cities often do.

"Lots. This is Sigil. What do you consider interesting, specifically?"

"Let us say... something of historical significance."

The Lady's Ward or the Clerk's Ward is probably her best bet.

The Hall of Records and the Hall of Information are options, but for the great, legendary histories, she'll have to bump elbows with the wealthy residents.

Heh. Yeah.

"Let's head up to Lady's Ward, then."

"Lead on."

The Lady's Ward is a good distance away from this shop. It's possible there are other interesting things to buy, or at least, the shopowners seem to think so.

With employees trying to flag down possible customers, they won't avoid attention for long.

Sefi likes to think she keeps an open mind about that sort of thing.

So many offerings!

Books, elixirs, scrolls, traveling supplies...

The woman trying to sell animals is particularly enthusiastic today.

"I have no use for an animal. Begone."

She goes, murmuring something uncomplimentary about Elatra's heritage.

Sigil is rather large; it might be worth investing in some faster transportation.

Half the point of the exercise is to kill time.

The light has nearly changed completely by the time they find their quarry.

One of these fine proprietors will have what they seek.

Well? What is there?

After some asking around, they learn that a former Dustman in the Lady's Ward is rumored to have the final, unpublished book by a Prime noble, known for her utter rejection of wealth and rank.

A young mephit, known for his singing ability and recurring addiction problems, is said to know the whereabouts of a demiplane with some connection to the Draedens.

The Prime is boring.

The demiplane's not, like, a mouth, is it? That's not a connection Sefi particularly wants to see.

Rumor does not really know the details but probably not a mouth. If someone was sending people to get eaten by the Draeden, they'd be put in the dead-book soon enough.

That sounds all right, then.

Yes. Where is this singing mephit?
