It is late evening, and this particular urban park is fairly quiet. The stands of maple and oak trees make a dense forest that, combined with the river on the far side, fairly effectively conceals the fact that one is in a city, at least from mundane senses.
This particular park is not far from the nightlife district; the faint glow of neon signs can just be made out through the trees if you know what to look for. Closer to the river, there's a gazebo which is filled with quiet shadows wearing long cloaks with intricate floral patterns on them - at least four people, seated close together. They're silhouetted against a park lamp, which is a faint pink color and has a shade on it. Some of the brighter stars are still visible, but light pollution has swallowed the fainter ones. Someone from Earth might be able to recognize the Big Dipper above them.
It's hard to make out the faces of the people in the gazebo, but from their voices they're women, and the low snatches of conversation that drift across the park are warm in tone.
"You're a very cute dove, you know that?"
"You too."
There's a soft rustle - a hand through hair, perhaps - and then the distinct sound of a kiss, followed by a soft sigh.
"Now there Silvera, there'll be plenty of time for that in the lounge..."
"I suppose there will be. Still. It really is a beautiful night."
At about the same volume as those hushed voices, a tram can be heard passing on the side further from the river, clacking over the rails. More distantly yet there are the soft wooshes of passing cars.
