She looks at Michael. "And who are you?"

"Seal. My mama's a mermaid if you're going to ask."

She notices how dreadfully still the angel child is. "Neither of you are actually human, are you?"

"Nope. Morri knows more, but she's kinda being silly right now."

<Half of our structure is alien human, the other half is alien monster.>

"They're from another world, it's weird."

<I can see the future,> she supplies.

Maurice's mothers run into the room, looking deeply worried. This does not improve when they see their son. 

"What have you done to him?" shouts Mary.

<He is turning into a Miracle. He will live forever.>

"He's Manifesting?" Sibohan sounds like she's on the brink of tears.

<Yes.>

They both break down weeping, hugging their son.

"Little girl, do you realise what you've done?"

<Saved his life.>

"Manifestation is dangerous."

<Not when Evan does it.>

She turns to Evan. "Is that true?"

"I don't know, terrifying but boring bird thing thought of it!"

<Because I saw the future and it was true.>

Zaneta decides to go for a more diplomatic approach. She bends down, looking Morri right in the eye, although she knows this is likely pointless. "Child, you seem to mean well for your brother." Maurice's mothers both glare at Zaneta, but she ignores them for now. "But we need to take him to the hospital, so they can look after him till he's all better. And we need to run some tests on you and Levi. Is that alright?"

<Yes.>

"They really don't like being separated, or she doesn't, anyway."

"You might have to be taken to a separate building for some of the tests. Is that something you can cope with?"

<Yes.>
