"There's a sensory boost that tends to be overwhelming if you don't compensate for it; there's one that dulls a sense--you can't take them on the same sense and have them cancel out, alas. There's one that twists your fate-shadow to ensure that at some point you're defeated and killed by a sentient enemy; it's inconvenient, but also a one-time ting."

"Not as far as I'm aware. Insofar as I've seen Fate interfere in cases like this, though, it's--to put you in the way of someone who'll take offense at any little thing, or doesn't like your face, not mind control someone into falling in enmity with you."

"I suppose if there's someone out there who will murder people over having a face regardless who might do it to somebody whether I pick this option or not, then I am... perhaps open to dying in this way one time, if you can reliably put me back?"

"Um--shunting the question to other active threads who are immersed in divine sensory modalities including Divination. In this case what I did was I checked over the large number of probable futures where I establish a presence in your dimension and acquire followers there; there's enough weight where people choose to use my afterlife as a get out of death free card that I can see a clear outline of wizardly powers remaining."

"Neat! Uh, just to check, what is the background stability rate of gods as a class?"

"--Are you asking how often we die? I--assume it's possible but I haven't heard of it, gods so old and undocumented mundanes have forgotten them still hang around, we don't need worship. When we fight we tend to fight by proxy using mortal champions--I haven't done this, you understand, but in general--or interfere with each other's plans--if there's a meaningful attrition rate then it's kept under close enough wraps that I haven't dug it up yet, and I know a number of things I can't tell to mortals even though I want to and it would solve a number of problems."
