"What won't hurt anything?" 

"If I go in and fetch the Journal of Maleficaria studies so we can look at heatmaps for the honeypot plan. We might do it all in one go via portals instead of in lots of places."

"I mean, I don't know about one go, we might need to break to sleep and stuff."

"Might depend what kind of uptake we get. There are witches who don't need to sleep."

"Technically I don't need to sleep but I usually do anyway for digicasting reasons. It's lucid dreaming, though, which is better than regular sleep."

Katarzyna pats her doppelganger on the back as he has a small fit of glee.

It's a foldout, since the journal is just magazine-sized and the mapmakers want to be able to distinguish between various regions of England and so on. Bella smooths it onto the nearest flat surface.

"It looks sort of like one of those pictures of the earth from space at night, except more depressing."

"It's a population density map, more or less, with just the discrepancies you'd expect from wizards having particularly substantial concentrations in Western Europe and India."

"Why Western Europe and India in particular? If it was just Western Europe I'd guess a prosperity thing, but India's not doing so great these days."
