She could show Kaz how well her card skills are coming along.

Sounds like fun. (And the answer: faster than she's been letting on at the club, of course.)

Then maybe she's ready for a few more of Kaz's dirty tricks.

She laughs in delight whenever Kaz beats her or tricks her, at some of the more clever or difficult tricks - she wants to learn slight of hand, wants to do some of those 'magic tricks' with her knives. 

She's halfway there with her sneaking, honestly. Sleight of hand is about managing attention.

Should be an easy skill to learn, then. 

They'll see.

Well, Kaz has been a good teacher so far...

And Inej an apt student.

And Inej does, in fact, pick this up faster than the lock picking. Some level of existing familiarity with the concept helps, of course, as well as the fact that she can see what Kaz is doing, and the relevant mechanisms aren't hidden away. 

Excellent.

Inej is pretty excellent, true. 

She shouldn't get too cocky, though.
