She looks up. "Hello."

(She doesn't reach for her mask, or even seem particularly startled. It's odd - Elesse has only seen her face in small, grainy holos, of her at assorted functions from before she became Senator, or decades old yearbook holos from her grade school. The news stories gossiping about her in the lead up to and wake of Vidar Kim's death had only gotten rather poor resolution pictures of her at the funeral of Kim's wife and sons. And, as far as anyone can tell, she hasn't shown anyone her actual face since Vidar and Danni Kim were killed.)

"You are... Lyli?"

She nods, then sighs. "I'm still the one using that name, at least."

"Would you prefer to be called something else?"

She pauses, an odd look on her face. 

"Names don't matter much to me." And a tiny sigh, then: "But Lylí has the least - baggage."

"Lyli, then."

"You looked like you were thinking deep thoughts."

"I have been." She curls up a bit, not looking at Elesse.

"Sometimes thoughts get easier when you say them out loud."

"And sometimes they get more real - more capable of harming you."

"Depends on the thought."

"I'm pregnant."

"Oh."

"I've scheduled this trip so I'll be giving birth on Naboo."

"You want to keep this secret, then."

"I have - enemies."

"Ones that are dangerous to a child?"

"Especially so."

Slow nod.

"Will you tell anyone?"

"I can keep a secret for a good reason."

"Thank you."

"That does make me feel... a bit inadequate. I'm only a padawan. But I guess you trust the security team."

"I do, against just about anything."

"And I'm sure Shaní will find a way you can help."

"I could just stay out of everyone's way."

"You don't strike me as someone that prefers idleness."
