"Do you have an opinion on which course of action I ought to take?"

...Hum.

"I'd lean travel - I've never pen-tested an imperial fortress, but some of Cyrodiil's nobles and wealthier merchants are just as or more paranoid. There's always gaps in security, and there'd only be so much I could do to plug the ones here."

"I will take that advice into consideration. Thank you, Lilou."

"You're welcome."

"And - either way you lean, I'd suggest having a decoy take the opposite choice. Possibly multiple decoys. And I can work with your security here to plug some of their holes - whether or not you're actually here might not have a strong impact on if the Mythic Dawn thinks you're here."

"A sound point."

Nod.

"What else have you been working on?"

"Plans for when Bérengère and I return to the Imperial City, for one..." She goes over the lists they've made of contacts and such.

Elliane can offer introductions with priests at other temples, if she thinks that will be useful.

"Possibly... The risk to talking to more people is if the Mythic Dawn gets warning I'm looking."

"If you would like the option, let me know. Whether or not you ultimately decide to use it would be up to you. I do not have the expertise and will not have the time to micromanage your actions."

"I'd like the option, then - thank you."

"I prefer to allow my subordinates significant free rein, unless they prove they cannot handle it."

"I won't let you down, Your Highness."

"I do not think you will."

Her gaze drops, and her breath catches a little. "I'm honored, Your Highness."

(Yes, she is definitely coming to like the benefits of this sudden rise in rank.)

"I'll see to writing those letters up. As you were."

"Yes, sire."

She turns back to her work.

And Elliane will go off to write her introductions to other prelates she's familiar with.

And if it's still not dinnertime when she's done, she'll go watch Azi work.

It isn't, not yet - and she comes upon Azi perched on a stool, bent intently over the enchanting table, reagents spread before her and magicka riming her fingers.

She leans in the corner to watch, quietly.

Azi doesn't appear to notice her.

She does, in fact, finish before dinner, setting aside her tools and stretching her back.

"Congratulations."

Grin! "Wanna get a better look?"

"I would." She steps over to join Azi at the workbench.
