If nothing else, the Fatebinder has a history with something rather like this.

And she's fairly sure that were she in possession of her full skill, she could make a sort of dimensional lockpick.

And on the third hand...  She could try something speculative with the White.  If it makes things more real, why couldn't it make the vanished people more real than Klarion's magic that has entrapped them?

"Ah, I hadn't considered that you might need to be on-site. That's my mistake. Miss Martian, how many can the bio-ship seat ...?"

A few minutes of logistics sees Kid Flash, Miss Martian, Red Tornado, Red Arrow, and Wildcard assigned to the away team in the bio-ship. Green Arrow, Robin, and Wonder Woman will be staying back to assist with the investigation and coordination side of things.

Miss Martian shows the away team into her ship, shifting her uniform to look like that of a flight attendant as she does.

"Welcome to Martian Air! Our flight to the Bialyan border will take just over two hours. Shippy is still recovering from the time he spent in hibernation, so our only in-flight service today is nutritionally complete meal replacement slime, if anyone wants some."

She gets a thoughtful look.

"Actually, I only know it's nutritionally complete for Martians. It ... probably isn't very good for Humans. Let's just skip the snacks, today."

"...I could probably check that, actually.  But yes, let's Not."

(Ophelia, incidentally, is busy finding Miss Martian's little skit utterly adorable in the back of their mind.)

While they have nothing better to do, they should rearrange their sparks to be more field-useful.

Hmm.  What to do...

They're going to want to keep that "am I being cosmically Loud" power, but for now...

Hmm, now that she's thinking about it, she could try adding a third green to each of the blues that make up her purple - and that's likely to be something she should do, here, because more fine-grained understanding of Light's interactions with other stuff would be Very Useful.

...They're probably still going to end up with the exopower stack as their slotted green.  Unless they - no, ending up with effectively three blues isn't a valid operation.  There's not enough space for the intermediate step where you pack...

...wait, is there?  If you have...

...no, that's only the three-green shuffle in reverse.

(Gods, having five slots is going to be a hell of a time optimizing.)

Uh.  Anyway.

What should she pack into the fifth and sixth green sparks in that purple...

Could go for the other color-based metaphysics stuff.  The Green, The Red, et al..

Seems like that might ask for trouble, though.  Those are not the whole of it.

Kingdoms as one side, and then more general conceptual stuff and theurgy on the other?  That might be workable.

Now she just has to actually enumerate everything.

Fuck.

...oh, hey, 'am I being cosmically Loud' actually might fit in the Big Spark.

How many Kingdoms or Courts or whatever the generic term was can the Gift actually detect right now, anyway?  The was-it-actually-Silver-or-was-that-just-the-fanfic-IDRC tech elementals did it live, canonically, so they might not be around yet.

And then there's gods, not to mention the Silver City and also, regrettably, Hell.  But that's the other half of the plan.

It can make powers that interact with the Red, the Green, and the Gray for her! And it can tell, based on the underlying structure of physics here, that the Megahertz-band Radio and the High-Energy Coherent Gluon Radiation also exist, but it can't make powers that allow her to channel those because she has no connection to a biosphere involving them.

It won't make powers that connect her to Hell, for safety reasons.

She doesn't want to connect to Hell, she wants to understand where it's looking and how to deflect it, so that's fine and reasonable.

Alright.  Let's actually plan this out.

She has room for [(<><><?>)(<><>):?(<><>)] x 2.

Manipulate Elemental Energies

Theurgic Understanding

Avoid Unintended Metaphysical Notice

Detect Elementals

Detect Gods/Lords-of-X/etc.

Detect Celestial/Infernal

Detect Spirits

...That ought to cohere well enough.  Whether it'll fit in the Big Spark cleanly is less clear, but she thinks it ought to fit in the more ~upper-spectrum spark well enough.

What else could she fit in there.  Something that goes with the lower spectrum...  There ought to be something.  Maybe material components?  But that's not really about fear, anger, or greed.  She couldn't argue that at all.  ...She could perhaps argue ~enchanting into the other spare green by way of Sith practices with kyber...

...She could argue enchanting into the other blue because of Sith practices.

...You know what, she might actually do that.  Not right now, though.

She does want to go ahead with the spark she described, though.

It takes some ejecting and shuffling, but the gift is able to work through it with a plan to follow. It's nice not having energy constraints on how it can help!

Yeah, that went well.  Well beyond her wildest expectations for that matter.  She had expected it to basically only work Once.

...You'd make a really good Indigo.  <3

And you know what, she is going to do the dedicated enchanting spark, if that's alright.  There's time, and it's something to do.

Imbue Emotional Energy

Imbue Concepts

Imbue ~Instructions/Logic

Design Rituals

Design Magical Devices

Analyze Magical Effects

Subvert/Dispel Magical Effects

And maybe that ought to fit.  Especially if Ophelia thinks Sithy thoughts at it.

Plus, this design might actually help with Klarion's shenanigans a bit.

But now that she's thinking about things to do while they're flying, there's something blindingly obvious to discuss.

"So.  I've never worked with any of y'all before.  I know a little bit about most of you, but you don't really know anything about me, and we should rectify that.

"I have, well, the ability to give myself abilities.  Right now, I'm basically a budget Lantern - think Alan Scott from the Justice Society, rather than any of the Corps Lanterns; I don't have the Lantern Ring support software whatsoever - and a novice wizard.  And, well.  I'm not properly trained for this.  Though I can and have tried to shore that up, this is the second time I've ever been in the field."

Red Tornado nods.

"A logical preparation. I am an elemental android, capable of controlling air. Most importantly for this mission, my nature renders me immune to telepathy."

"Wait, hold up — you can give yourself powers? There have got to be some limitations on that, right?"

"I can't just arbitrarily render myself omnipotent, no, but the details are abstruse.  Suffice to say that breadth and depth of what I can give myself are things I have to manage, and it takes time to change what I have."

They're not telling anybody about the strict mechanics except possibly Batman.  (And only possibly Batman.)

If and as - no, it has to be when - she starts distributing newly budded Gifts, that will change,  but right now?  No.  That's a card to keep up her sleeve.

They drift into the stable midpoint between [REDACTED] and Ophelia as they continue to exposit.  "I do expect I will stick with what I have, unless there's something truly pressing, so I should probably also explain the Emotional Spectrum in a bit more detail than I expect y'all have, as that is my present largest investment - and I simply haven't had the time to properly internalize magic.  You all know about Green Lanterns, but there are other colors, each with their own upsides and downsides.  In this case, I expect that the Orange Light of Avarice or the Indigo Light of Compassion may prove useful.  The Red Light of Rage is a horrible backup plan but it is good at destroying things, and the Green Light is something I'd really rather leave to the Green Lanterns with their Maltusian-bullshit Power Batteries, let alone the Central Battery; they have more throw weight.

"One other notable thing is that the Blue Light of Hope can heal, if it's necessary.

"You may also have noticed that there is also White light represented in my iconography.  It may be useful here, but I am not going to talk about it unless it proves necessary that I disclose that information.  It's not dangerous - if anything, I'd say Red, Orange, and perhaps the Violet Light of Love, come with the most danger if one is sufficiently marinated in them, out of the known seven - Violet's major failure mode being - toxic, obsessive, possessive 'love' that should probably sputter out in Orange if the world made sense.  But I didn't design the Emotional Spectrum, so here we are."

"In terms of what I can do with it...

"The limits are both in vision, ha - what I can make make sense enough to pull off - and also throughput.  I do not have a plausibly-infinite power tap like linking to the Green Central Battery would be.

"That said, I haven't found myself all too hugely limited by emotional throughput, yet.  It's just that this is an entire country and I don't know if this pocket dimension or whatever it is the Witch Boy did is going to - pop like a soap bubble, or need to be dragged back to the material plane kicking and screaming, or be even more complicated somehow."

Red Arrow crosses her arms and leans back in her chair.

"With magic users, my bet is always on 'more complicated somehow'," she opines. "But you're ... basically a multicolored lantern. Good to know. Personally, I'm really good at shooting things with arrows, and I have a subspace quiver that means I can store a lot of specialized arrows for different situations."

"And I'm almost as fast as the Flash!" Kid Flash chimes in.

Miss Martian spins around to face backward in the pilot's chair.

"And I don't have any special powers! But humans can't shapeshift and are barely telepathic, so in the land of the blind ..."
