"If Eru dropped humans here Varda would go 'Eru, dear, how about a poetry contest where the prize is a new apartment in downtown Tirion? And all the contestants really want the apartment and will be so crushed if they lose.' And then they would go over and make them immortal and if the whole thing wasn't done before a single human died they would publish a discussion of how they'd failed to handle the situation well and how they planned to do better."

"And I hope you'll let us help with affairs with other planes, I understand you'd be afraid of getting the attention of the Valar but it sounds like the other planes need some aid."

"I couldn't begin to stop you, I already taught your father some cantrips, there'd be no dissuading him."

Nod. "I've been trying to further refine the planehopping spell's parameterization. Didn't manage to figure out 'no gods' in a timely manner - I guess finding this plane was good but still."
