Perhaps even a few waves.

They'll need to move their things back to the boat, then.

Something Acererak can manage quickly enough with magic.

Then Eliese will hop over with the pet and they can set sail.

Acererak enjoys sailing as much as she did on their trip out. 

Does Eliese have opinions about which island to go terrify? (Are those university students from earlier still around?)

Syncing the map reveals that they are not.

There is, however, a young women's choir recently arrived.

"I do like girls who can sing."

"Shall I set a course?"

"Mmm, yes."

"Then it shall be so." She locks in the heading.

"How do you want to approach them?

"Hmmm... There's one argument for opening in style, perhaps with an explosion or a few corpses left out over night for everyone to find... One argument for infiltrating a bit first..."

Eliese strokes Ahmi's hair thoughtfully.

"I'd rather start strong, I think. Get to the good part."

"Fair enough. Though I'd like to open with most of them alive after our debut. So they can appreciate us properly - for a bit, at least."

"So nothing too lethal... Well, I can certainly arrange a lightshow."

"Scare them properly."

"You can follow up with some of your mind-affecting magic."

"Yum."

"That's a delicious look on you."

That calls for a kiss!

Yes, it does.

Once they get in range, Eliese ties the pet's leash to the stern railing. "Ready?" she asks Acererak.

The pet cooperates, pushing herself into the railing and out of her owners' ways.

"Ready," Acererak says, smirking.

"See you on the ground." And she launches herself up into the sky, green aura glowing brilliantly.

She swoops over the island, sending out precise beams of fire that explode on impact, destroying cover and sending people scattering. A chorus of screams rises.

Acererak laughs and launches herself over the side of the boat, flying idly into the thick of the chaos. Mostly preventing people from running too far away.

This is helped by the size of the island (small), and the way that Eliese crashes to the ground in an explosion of ice which races out to grab the feet of their prey.

Acererak can be the outer fire, then, giving their new friends all sorts of exciting choices about who to run to.
