"Don't go anywhere."

"I'll be right here. I promise, darling."

Eliese drifts off into sleep.

And Acererak watches her, snuggling.

It's a pleasant way to wake up, shortly before sunrise.

Acererak hasn't moved, and gives her a soft good morning kiss.

"Good morning to you too."

Nuzzle. "You're cute when you're sleeping."

Kiss. "And I'm beautiful while awake."

"Very much so."

Smug smug.

"Let's go see if our guest enjoyed her night as well."

"Give her a nice little wake up call," she says with a light kiss before starting to untangle herself.

"Tell her she can have breakfast if she asks nicely," Eliese says, standing and stretching.

"Maybe something light on the stomach. Wouldn't want her throwing up later."

She shudders. "Certainly not."

Kiss!

And then off, to teach their pet to beg.

Fun for the whole family. Or the members whose opinions count, anyway.

She laughs.

The next while of vacation is incredibly relaxing - Acererak focuses her attention on making Eliese smile, mostly, either directly or indirectly. She demonstrates all the ways her magic can be used to torment someone, tells stories of the adventures she's had, flirts quite a bit...

(Of course, eventually the pet stops being as entertaining, will worn down and nearly broken.)

Eliese very much enjoys the attention Acererak pays her and the shows she puts on. She contributes some adventures of her own. Perhaps not so many but all very large-scale, fleets and armies and battles raging across continents.

She takes to treating the pet like a lapdog or a throw pillow once she stops struggling, keeping her close by her feet when she's not focused solely on Acererak.

Oh good. (Kiss.) Eliese should enjoy herself.

She's been doing quite a lot of that since Acererak showed up.

Then Acererak's achieving her goals beautifully.

Yes, she is.

Still, this island is starting to get a little stale.

Well, there're islands full of university students out there, Acererak's heard...

Time to make a splash?
