"You can pick a new one, then."

Kiss! "Not one too far away..."

"Give me enough warning to obtain a cake. And maybe someone to hide inside it."

Giggle.

"Maybe... Two months from now? Split the difference to yours."

"I'll mark it on my calendar."

Kiss. "You're wonderful."

"I know."

Nuzzle - and then a little yawn.

"Getting sleepy?"

"A bit. - I technically can just skip it, but sometimes it's cozy..."

"I don't really need to either, but we can."

"Perhaps snuggle and watch the stars some... And then go wake up our pet if we get bored."

"Sounds like a decent plan. Do you want the blanket?"

"Hm, sure."

She rises to fetch it.

She stretches out, languid, and waits for her return.

Blanket! She flutters it delicately across Acererak's face and snuggles down next to her.

She giggles, pushing it down a bit, and cuddles into Eliese's side to look up at the stars with her head on Eliese's shoulder.

There is a truly excellent view. The horizon is completely dark, and there are no lights in the sky other than the stars. The bright trail of the galaxy sprawls across the northwestern quadrant.

"I'd tell you stories about the constellations, but uh, I don't know any of this planet's."

Kiss. "We can make some up."

"All right." She points up and traces out a hexagonal pattern. "How about those ones?"

She hums, thinking. "Bees were clearly involved."

"Storing vast quantities of honey for... appeasing that snake over there."

"While secretly plotting to create a robot bee god."

She laughs. "And there's their wrench!"
