She looks hopefully at Lucy. "We don't haaaveee tooooooo."

“We can still snuggle in bed.”

Cara's face lights up. "That's true! We caaaaaaaan."

She looks at Haru happily. "She's so smart!"

She looks back at Lucy, scandalized. "Underappreciated in your time..."

Giggling, she starts moving towards the bedroom.

Cara is so cute. And also sleep deprived.

She snuggleshuffles into the spare room, still giggling a bit at her own mediocre joke, and attempts to navigate into the bed with ✨Lucy ✨

Goooood good. Lucy snuggles down with her and pets her hair some more.

Cara is veerrrryyyy sleepy but she's also very distractable. She nuzzles Lucy, then kisses her forehead.

Lucy starts humming a lullaby.

Deeply unfair strategies. Cara cannot resist the siren song of hummed lullaby... Lucy has her asleep within a few minutes.

Lucy goes back to reading fanfic on her phone. With one hand, while petting Cara with the other.

If Cara has any bad dreams this time, they don't seem to wake her up. (She does wrap herself around Lucy pretty tightly about 30 minutes in, though.) 

Ohhh that’s so valid of her. Cling cling cling pet.

Once she's properly entangled with Lucy, Cara will sleep for another 3 hours before she starts to stir.

Lucy will totally text Haru during that time asking for food and water.

He brings up peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and water on a tray.

And Lucy is all set until Cara wakes up.
