"In certain, very limited cases, it is possible for a Force user to leave ghost behind in the event of their death, a sort of psychic impression on the world. It is possible to communicate with these, but they do not think as such. They are focused on the events and emotions surrounding their demise."

"Does magic vary a lot?"

"Typically, yes. There can be points of convergence, but the mechanics are usually distinct. We have found only two worlds that are outright copies."

"But there's the same people across multiple worlds?"

"Accounting for variations in circumstance and upbringing."
