"Disappearing stuff comes in right away, but they start fist-sized or smaller and rank up from there. Constructs are rank two, go up in range and complexity and how long the nerve-fuckery lasts from there."

"Don't I need another rank three?"

"No, you have two fives two fours two threes and two ones, but you can have another three if you like."

"What's the difference between rank three and rank four, then?"

"Rank four introduces going into people's mindscapes to poke things there, mess with memories and associations. Plus everything from lower ranks being bigger and better - disappear a house from a house party full of people to all the senses at once, say, headaches start making people bleed from their ears and you can do thirty of those at once too, ninety meter range on the constructs and if you get somebody in the head they fall unconscious like a thriller protagonist clonked them, teleport a mile away."

"You can always buy it later. Three ranks in psionics will cost you six, so you have fourteen left for wild magic."

"Yes, but it is additive, so you would still get better at those from whatever level you start at."

"Poison-and-venom-and-things-that-produce-same control and immunity?"

"Handy little colorful hovering fires of temperatures including cold?"

"What's it useful for?"

"Cooking, lighting, brewing, decoration, climate control, summoning demons."

"Is it really that much more convenient than mundane light bulbs, gas stoves, and air conditioning?"
