"It's almost like you know me."

"You take care, Luke."

"You too, Lando."

And off they go?

Off they go.

Though 'where to' is a bit of a question... He does want to figure out what's up with the mystery voice, and the possibly related rumor of a Jedi Master... He's not sure the dark Jedi's ship is worth pursuing, too, but it might be.

It's doubtful the ship will have any useful information, and almost certain the voice and the rumor are related. Such a thing requires training.

"That anger - it didn't really feel like the Jedi Masters Ani described to me." Or Ben or Yoda.

"No, but nor was it focused as a true Sith's would have been. A fallen Jedi, I surmise."

"I want to seek him out either way. That - does alter how I'd approach him, though."

"It should."

"I should also check if mom knows anything about him..."

"True, she might know something."

"Though we don't even have a name yet - that'll be an important thing to find, first..."

"If we are chasing rumors, then we will need to find people. A spaceport, somewhere well-trafficked."

"Especially by people who'll have interests in Outer Rim gossip."

"Smugglers, most likely. My knowledge of their haunts is... outdated."

"One of my friends - Han, Leia's husband - should still know a lot of that."

"Then is it back to Coruscant?"

"Suppose so."

He sets the course.

They don't run into any hiccups on the way back.

That's good.

He starts tracking down rumors - and lets Han know to keep an ear out for any Jedi Masters, or people using the Force.

Rumor points him toward a planet called Jomark, and the name C'Baoth.

Ani finishes swaying the Noghri's clan leaders to her side before he can do anything about that, perhaps fortunately.

(She's - exhausted, she feels like she ripped her heart out, the Noghri hadn't wanted to divide their loyalties between Thrawn as the Emperor's successor and her as their initial savior - she had to convince them the Emperor wasn't worthy of loyalty, which given all he did for them - and they don't consider brutality necessarily dishonorable - )

(She... Also expressed the importance of secrecy, for what she told them about her own status in the New Republic and her own history with the Emperor - but there's a bitter curl in her stomach that thinks no one is trustworthy, especially not with her secrets - )

The Noghri will be joining the New Republic. She'll - leave Luke and Leia to handle most of the political fighting to get them the resources they need to regain independence, to heal their planet of the scars the fighting during the Clone Wars left on its surface, and to unravel why the planet's been so long in healing - she knows, now that she's thinking about it, there's no way it's taken this long for the planet to regain even a bit of arability - but she hadn't actually followed up on the Noghri after handing their command off to Thrawn. Foolishly, perhaps.

She's restless, though, once she updates her children and leaves them to their work -

She closes her eyes, searching in the Force, and goes to find Occlus.

Occlus is in her office, sifting records of the old Jedi.

Ani - feels really wrung out.

She doesn't disturb Occlus, but does find a chair to curl up in.
