Unsurprisingly, the tower is where they left it.

Ilek awaits them on the balcony they left from, watching their approach. 

"My virgin eyes," he complains once they pass the wards - which allow the two of them through with no fuss - voice deadpan. He gives Zephyrinus a slight, suspicious frown, eyes on his face and not straying downwards, but doesn't comment on what Wanderer had implied they'd been up to. 

"That is... such a weird attitude to have." Zephyrinus comments.

"What, the nudity issue?" He shrugs. He's not visibly bothered by it, aside from just not looking. "I guess it's probably not distracting if people just walk around naked sometimes where you're from. That'd be the big problem if you did it here, though, I think. And I guess there would be people who just... think it's wrong on principle." 

"People don't walk around naked all the time, but I think the mentally behind it is... that they just prefer not to? You're making yourself vulnerable and like you are poor, which isn't something other people should be scandalized about?"

"Hm. Even people without much money have clothes. They'd get taken in by the watch for wandering around in the nude, otherwise, being a public disturbance."

"Public indecency is illegal," Jaim adds, "But the punishment is usually fines, for the first few offenses, and a person without much money might be let off with a warning." 

"I appreciate knowing the state of the world, but none of those statements really explains."

They share a look. Then Jaim sighs, shaking his head, "I have no idea what is behind it, just that it's an entrenched part of our culture." 

Ilek shrugs, nodding. 

"We should get going," he reminds Jaim. "You'll be fine down here, I guess?" He asks Zephyrinus. 

"I will. Don't worry about me. I will be contacting my brothers. Don't take long, if only because The Wanderer should meet more people."

"I can't make any promises," Jaim tells him, "But I may be able to return as early as tomorrow afternoon." 

"I have no idea when I'd be able to sneak away," Ilek says unhappily. He sighs, remembering that he's going to have to be a Prince at people. That's always exhausting. 

He nods. "I figure out something if I need your help. Don't worry about me."

Jaim nods, then pauses, glancing at Ilek. After a moment of consideration, he shrugs and moves forward to press a tentative kiss to Zephyrinus' lips. 

"We'll see you soon enough, either way, Zephyrinus," he says once he pulls away. 

He kisses back. "Very soon."

Ilek's mildly suspicious look becomes moreso at this confirmation of some kind of relationship, but he still doesn't say anything. 

The two brothers leave Zephyrinus on the balcony with a last farewell, heading out of the suite and into the elevator, and from there back to the lake and the surface. 

Wanderer brushes Zephyrinus with a light gust of wind after they've left. 

"There's ledges outside the Sea Room, where my pedestal is, if you want to fly up there?" They suggest. 

"Oh, thank you for the suggestion." And he does that.

There is a metal walkway all around the truncated glass sphere which contains Wanderer's pedestal. There are railings around most of it, with openings here and there leading out onto ledges for take off and landing. 

The room hasn't changed since he left, still glowing under the lights of the wards and the Spear - which stands in the pedestal where he left them. As he approaches the Wanderer's physical form, his sense of their emotional state clears and sharpens. 

Affection-Happiness-Excitement, is their current state, most of it directed at him. 

"Hello again!" They greet, "Not that you ever really went away," they add with a laugh. 

"Hello. I really have not." He tries to send. Affection-Protectiveness-Enthusiasm alongside the Resolution that's the background radiation of his thoughts.

The affection-happiness part of their emotional state increases. They sort of curl up in the feeling of Zephyrinus' emotions, feeling cherished. They've missed this. Zephyrinus gets another airhug, as well, more firm given their better control of the air in this room. 

"When you're done contacting your brothers, I can start showing you how to control the City," they say after a few moments. "We'll have to wait to move it - your pool is growing, but there's not enough mana there yet to let you control it for long."

"Alright... It's going to take a while. And we do it by binding and rebinding our powers, which is painful. I am not sure you would get that. I am entirely used to it by this point and it doesn't cause physical harm."

"Okay," they say. "I won't get any physical sensation," they add, "Sight and sound is as much as I can get from the strongest of bonds. At higher levels of compatibility we can share memories, but physical sensation is still pretty faded in those, usually." 

Nod nod. "It's not dangerous to interrupt. But it might mean I will have to start the word over again."

He starts pinging Felicianus so they can start the conversation.
