"Oh you've got regen," he breathes, before he even actually sees any effects. Because, like, what else would it be?

"I've - what?? Are you sure?? Is it just disappearing immediately???"

It is in fact beginning to disappear, yes.

"Yeah!" He's kind of hypnotised. "Wow."

"That's really cool!!!!! Uh, quick, bite me somewhere I can see so I can look at it, too, I think there are different regen types..."

"Like where? Uh, forearm?" He'll go for forearm, that'll be an easy place to see. Chomp.

She is chomped! (She notes that it is definitely pretty hot, and files this information away for later when they are not sciencing.)

Then she watches with fascination as: yep, there it goes. Closing right up, from the inside out, looks like.

"That... is probably a good type of regen?? I don't know what the types of regen are, I was just aware of it because it sometimes applies to dungeon fauna and flora, too. Um. I guess I need to go into powers testing and tell them I have regen, and have someone specialized in it tell me what I have????" But it's VERY EXCITING either way!!!

"That was really fast! It also means you don't need to be that careful with experimenting, either—uh, except for the backlash, but, uh, we're super compatible so it's probably fine?"

"Yeah!" Grin! "That's really useful, I'm glad we figured it out. So I suppose you are now extra special allowed to be rough with me!"

"Kim Hye-jin, I should get some water and use the bathroom and brush my teeth.

"But I don't have any dungeons scheduled for this morning."

"O-oh," she says, smiling a little. Her plan was to get to know him as a person instead of carnally though, but, but. .... He's looking really cute, okay, and they just figured out she has regeneration. No wonder the IUD recovery was so quick!

"I think I should probably have some kind of breakfast, I'm a little starved," she admits, though: still smiling.

"That sounds like good idea, too."

"Okay," she agrees, grinning. "Um - when were your dungeons for the day? And I should see about scheduling my power testing... thing. You know, work towards getting to officially come with you in dungeons and hopefully not drag you down with my inexperience and presence."

"I only have two, one at one PM and one at five. You said you wanted to talk about scheduling but you fell asleep early last night so I opened up some time for that."

"Oh! Okay. Thanks." It's objectively a little sad that she's surprised he actually followed up on that, but she is, and she's happy he remembered. "Mostly I just - um, think I wanted more time with you, er, after? I, um. Want to get to know you as a person, I guess."

"Oh. Um. That makes sense."

"I'm, you know. New to this. Sorry, I don't mean to drag down your dungeon numbers, just, um." She waves vaguely. "You're kind of my first serious professional partner, so I'd like to take time to try and... I don't know, get things right? I guess?"

"...it's not about my dungeon numbers. It's, um, it's just that I, um. I don't really do? Much? Else? I guess sometimes my hyungnim drag me places but I'm not good at, like, coming up with... other things. To do."

"I mean, that's fine? I don't even actually necessarily mean hanging out or anything, though I'd be happy to, just. Honestly doing general power and dungeon training and stuff would be great, since I will presumably be with you a lot going forward? So. Please teach me, senpai?"

That makes him laugh. "You're in Korea, you mean sunbae."

"Okay, yes, but I feel that senpai gets across my meaning better, Korean honorifics have like, all of these... they're..." She waves vaguely, then switches to Japanese. "So not only is there so much to keep track of, but it all can get really, hm, personal? Overly-familiar? And I mean yes we have had a lot of sex already but, it's, I, hm. The thing I wanted to point at was more the Japanese thing than the Korean thing."

"Yes, I was just messing around," he replies, also in Japanese.

"I mean it's a legitimate correction, I should adjust to the culture I'm in! Just sometimes Korean doesn't have the words I want and it's very frustrating and I want to commit language atrocities over it!"
