Maitimë is going to keep right on declining to present a role, she likes Isabella quite a lot but 1) wants to be Queen someday and this is not compatible with trying to be all humanlike about her personal life 2) will probably definitely find a boy she likes that way someday 3) is absolutely never under any circumstances wearing a collar or kneeling next to someone for dinner, Isabella could have whatever she wanted in private but even that is a really major concession and would possibly be a disaster -

Wouldn't work because if anyone found out I wouldn't get to rule the Noldor and I want to rule the Noldor a lot more than I want to date a girl. Even a girl like your sister.

Also she would probably get sidetracked trying to figure out if it could work?
