And then she has enough vocabulary to launch into an animated conversation with Curufinwë about how to protect humans from death.

Everybody's picking up English fast enough I half-suspect they have eidetic memories too, Isabella remarks to Maitimë.

Languages are a passion of my mother's, she runs the linguistics guild. And it might be another species difference. My memory is good enough to know every one of the current Noldor but it's not eidetic, I have tricks to achieve that and I know I'll eventually hit my limit...

Elves'd have to have much better memories just to remember their lives.
