I do still sleep on a nightly basis. I could learn to skip it but I can lucid dream so it's not the waste of time it otherwise would be.

I don't know, songs don't have lasting effects so nothing that'd still be affecting you day after tomorrow but we've never had other species around before.

"The Trees don't reach Endorë, it's completely dark, we'd need a way to get crops to grow."

Although not continuously for any given part of the world the way the Trees seem to be on all the time. I doubt it's the best possible plan to install one here, though, even if the Valar could theoretically do it. Electric lighting would do to see by but I actually don't know if it scales well for crops - it doesn't categorically not work for plants in general, but it might be inefficient at scale or not work for all plants."
