"Some. Uh, I have pictures of your family because I thought they might have been kidnap victims who weren't reported missing, the thing where they don't look like humans would have been weird but I snapped pictures just in case."

"Oh, yeah, that totally makes sense. I think that one shouldn't go on the blog though."

"Yeah, they won't, I'll run anything about you and your stuff and your folks by you before it goes up anywhere."

"I appreciate it. I don't think they'd love the idea of pictures of them all corpsy being around once they're up and about. Little awkward."

"It would be! Those wouldn't have gone up anyway, they'd have been like missing persons evidence."

"Wouldn't it be funny if there was a me here, and you got a hit for them, like, yeah these guys died of unrelated causes back in the sixties?"

"You don't think they'd have agglomerated? I guess they could have and they wouldn't have stood out, this place'd've looked like a nonmagical Earth in the sixties."

"Yeah! --In fact the reason I specified the sixties is I have in fact identified a non-magical earth in that decade, haven't found anywhere else without magic yet but who knows."

"Huh. What was your name in that one?"

"Lucy Lavinia Wayne."

"Spell it?"

"W-A-Y-N-E."

"The whole thing, I think I can type it if I'm getting every letter from you one at a time."

"Ah, okay. L-U-C-Y space L-A-V-I-N-I-A space W-A-Y-N-E."

"Googling now. Did they have Google in '99?"

"...It's a very big number?"

"That's what it's named after, though they changed the spelling. It's a way to search the Internet."

"Oh. I do know what a search engine is, just couldn't offhand recall one named google."

"It's so overwhelmingly popular it's a verb now. Though I hear it used to work better, it's gotten kinda co-opted by ads and stuff."

"Ah well." 

Lucy Wayne was a nurse at a large hospital in Boston, until a former-patient-turned-stalker killed her, dismembered her, and hid the bits in lots of different places. The police ultimately found...most of them. Not all. 

"Oh my god, even the headline is disturbing. Cricket my sweet kitty will you read us this and paw any words that trip you -"

Cricket can read the article with possibly disturbing relish and frequent pauses to ask May for help with words.

"--Wow okay I had realized that that asshole got me, I did not realize what he did afterwards."

"Yeah that seems really uncalled for!"

"If he's still alive in prison I kind of want to go yell at him."
