"Yeah, well, I'm the one who's here and you clearly need someone," he doesn't say. 

"I'm staying anyway," he says. 

"Thank you," he says, and continues to cry into Luna's shoulder. "Sorry. I know it's not-- attractive."

Sasha holds him. "That's okay. Your feelings don't need to be attractive, they're yours," more because it's the only thing he can think of than because it's actually particularly applicable to the situation at hand. 

The crying takes on a somewhat happier tone. 

"Thank you," he says, "you're so kind to me."

I am repeating things my boyfriend has said when I've cried on him, he doesn't say. 

"You're easy to be sweet to," he says. 

"It's a lot better to have someone here."

"Yeah." He's not getting any less cuddly. "I'm glad I can help." 

"You're helping a lot." He sighs. "You're perfect. I feel like I can tell you anything."

"I'm glad." 

He's stopped crying but he's still cuddling up to Luna.

Luna can keep cuddling him. 

Eventually he asks, "what do you want to do tonight?"

"Watching a movie sounds fun?" 

"Sure! We can watch whatever you want."

"Miyazaki or schlocky horror movies, your choice." 

"And let me guess, saying 'the one that would make you happiest' is cheating. --Miyazaki."

"They'd both make me happy! That was the point!"

"I said 'Miyazaki,' didn't I? --The problem is that I can watch particular movies whenever I want, but opportunities to make a pretty girl smile are very scarce, so I want to do the latter as much as I can while you're here."

"That makes sense." He's smiling, warm. 

"We can go to the movie room and get Edith to make us dinner?"

"That sounds lovely." He kisses Lev's cheek before he stands up and puts clothes on and then follows him to the movie room. 

Well, that is definitely a movie theater screen inside a person's house. And a popcorn machine. With flavors both reasonable (cheese, caramel) and unreasonable (mint chocolate chip, "cornfetti"). 

He is not at all sure he wants to know what "cornfetti" is or how mint chocolate chip mixes with butter and salt but he sure will eat caramel popcorn while he cuddles with Lev. 

"Do you have a preference on which Miyazaki or should I pick?"

"I like Howl's Moving Castle but they're all good."
