Moving. Yet again. Because this ducking stupid—
No. Get yourself under control. You know what happened that time—
Okay. New school. Mmhm. It's alright.
He arrives at the school...
Movies!
They return, not a hair out of place.
(Maybe one or two, Stiles wasn't actually aiming for discreet so much as fun.)
Allison looks up, in the middle of laughing at something Scott said.
"Oh, you found them? Must be a pretty messy car."
Movies acquired, Stiles starts the first one.
He's bouncing slightly.
"The commentary track has nothing to say about the opening scene, the opening scene stands alone."
"Naturally." She plants a peck on his cheek and gets back to watching words against a backdrop of stars to the sound of a fanfare.
Naturally, the timeless and classic opening is followed by people shooting each other on a spaceship.
"So they start with Leia, because they want you to know this is a space story, and especially because it helps if the damsel in distress gets to show up before you have to rescue her. She's actually a character instead of a plot device, you know?"
"She's headstrong and reckless, and a space princess, starting with her in distress is the best way to bring the other two together."
"Not as much, in the first one, but yeah."
Oh look, it's the villain. You can tell because he's in black. Also the being an awful personnel manager.
"How many lame jokes you've made over the years were Star Wars references that I'm about to get?"
"After I've converted you, we can do a reread. I never made it past the Two Towers."
"Too much questing. I'm a horror and space fighting kind of guy."
"I never even started reading them," she says, and then shuts up because movie.
Movie! Here's a desert! Here's a boy and his parents aunt and uncle. Here's some droids, hello droids.
Scott looks vaguely uncomfortable about the droids, but kisses his girlfriend(?).
