Moving. Yet again. Because this ducking stupid—
No. Get yourself under control. You know what happened that time—
Okay. New school. Mmhm. It's alright.
He arrives at the school...
Hello droids! She won't kiss Stiles because he's probably too into the movie.
He does seem pretty interested in the movie!
Oh look at that, it's some kind of cave, and also backstory.
"Why does the Chosen One always have to secretly be royalty, why can't he just actually be a farmboy?"
"Nobility, right? He's a good person, and good people should be king, but if he knew, he might not grow up good. They get to have their cake and eat it, too."
"He's not a king, watch the movie and stop analyzing. Anyway, you're doing it wrong, you have to see the whole thing to get the trajectory."
"No, see, that's cruel. What you just did, that's the definition of bullying, I need a no-tolerance policy in here ASAP."
Stiles looks like he has some sort of clever retort, but suddenly, dead parents.
"The really nice thing about having three protagonists is that they're at different points. When Luke decides to save the princess, she's already been committed to the revolution forever, and Han is still in roguish criminal mode."
"It's silly that it exists? I'm pretty sure it's not hard to have an empire with a really awful leader, especially if he can magically choke his political opponents."
"Is everyone in the Empire supposed to be evil? And what about the droids?"
"Are the droids supposed to be evil? Is that the question? One at a time."
"I mean, it's not really psychologically plausible? People aren't just evil, that's not a thing that happens."
"Right, it's not that everyone is evil exactly, just all the leaders. There's an extended universe which you might like better, I guess? But it might not be worth your time."
As Our Heroes approach the not-moon, Mrs. Argents interrupts.
"Is everyone doing alright? Does anyone need anything?"
"I'm cool," she grins up at Mrs. Argent, then looks at Stiles again: "And does the extended universe explain why all the leaders are evil?"
"It's not really my kind of thing, I haven't really dipped into it."
The rescue mission proceeds with some efficacy.
Allison looks increasingly uncomfortable with this conversation.
