"Now get back there and help those morons put up that net. I see you slacking, Greenberg!"

And volleyball occurs.

Volleyball does indeed occur.

My, how athletic this new kid is, isn't he.

Everyone is pretty impressed.

And then he has econ, with Mr. Finstock.

Econ! It is fun.

Well, it is class, but the subject is fun.

Mr. Finstock certainly enjoys teaching students about how incentives work, since they don't seem to respond to them properly.

Get your act together.

After class, his future coach stops him.

"Do you have a lacrosse stick yet? You can borrow one today, but you'll need to buy one if you want to be on the team."

"I don't, and alright, where do I find one to buy? ...and how expensive is it, exactly, if I may ask?"

"More than a breadbox, less than a hockey stick? Look it up. Ask a friend. See you there."

"Alright, see you." Lunch?

Lunch! Does Ade want to sample the wide variety of people there are to sit with?

Ade said he'd sit with the popular kids today so he'll do that, giving Scott and Stiles a small wave when he sees them.

"Oh, hello. Ade, was it? Good to see you'll be joining us."

"Hiya!" he says, taking a seat and setting his food down. "How's everyone?"

"Trying to prove a point. Am I more attractive to guys or girls?"

"Girls."

"Guys."

"...I am genderfluid and my attraction doesn't change when I'm a girl so I don't think I count."

"You're welcome to answer anyway."

"Don't seduce the new kid again, bored of me already?"

"Oh I totally find Jackson super hot, it just doesn't change whether boys or girls find him attractive more." Pause. "I also probably find more people attractive than most people."

"I think I'm going to be flattered anyway. Who else falls into that camp, so far? Danny, Lydia, Allison?"

"Jackson, you can't just ask people if your friends are hot."

"Yes," he answers anyway.

"How about we live up to all the hype? I told Ade we were the popular crowd."

"We are popular. I throw all the best parties, and nothing gets done around here unless I'm behind it."
