Moving. Yet again. Because this ducking stupid—
No. Get yourself under control. You know what happened that time—
Okay. New school. Mmhm. It's alright.
He arrives at the school...
Stiles is probably alright, if he could follow his advice, so Ade focuses on Scott.
"Scott, buddy, you need to focus. I know it's hard right now, but try it anyway. You don't want to hurt me. You want to stay human."
"Scott. I'm your friend, you don't want to attack me, you'll regret it if you do, it'll be fine, just focus on not hurting anyone."
And also the sound of petty insults.
How charming. Possibly sufficiently distracting, though.
It growls at him again, this time leaping over his head and scratching the door.
Yeah okay reasoning it out is not going to work. Ade shifts, his face getting about as distorted as Scott's did, and pounces at the other werewolf.
This definitely gets more of a response!
He scratches at Sadde wildly. He's not really able to think strategically, and it's more like lashing out.
The other voices at the door fade away, and they hear:
"Scott, Ade, is everything okay?"
"Not very! I might have to knock him unconscious! I don't know if I can do that!"
Ade himself has—significantly more experience than Scott. And can think strategically. Is a headbutt enough to get a werewolf dizzy, he's never had to actually fight one.
It does seem to confuse him. Instead of biting or scratching, he headbutts Ade.
"Scott, come on, we need you back, buddy. Your mom is going to be worried if you start missing class, and who knows what Allison will think."
Ow. Okay, let's be a bit more proactive about this, pounce-and-attempt-to-throw-at-all, how about that.
Someone bursts through the door.
"What are you boys doing in here? I mean, I've got nothing against whatever you want to do with each other, but not in the locker room, alright?"
"Sorry coach, we thought it would be a good time to teach Ade how to play."
Good thing Ade shifted back.
He looks at the Coach and tries to smile his most innocent and disarming smile. Nothing untoward going on here, nope, he is blameless.
"Oh, are you interested in joining the team? We could use somebody who can actually score."
"Yeah, it looked fun today! But I've never played before, and I'm not sure how good I'd be."
"First line was almost set, but if you're good...up for coming to an extra session on Friday? You won't start on Saturday even if you're a god on the field, but I'll know who to cut."
And now he's alone with Scott and Stiles.
"Can we go to my Jeep. And talk. A lot."
