That reply is definitely quicker:

Yes

I mean sure!

...I don't know why those would be different. Yes and/or sure.

Okay!! I'll meet you there in an hour or so?

Make it an hour thirty just to make sure?

Sounds good to me!

Although in fact the very next thing she does is find a normal non-ero outfit with only ten minutes of dithering about how to be pretty enough without being too sexy and a book and head out to the park to sit on a bench and read.

Daisy will be getting to the meetup spot when expected! She is wearing jeans and a long-sleeved T-shirt with floral patterns and her glasses seem to be gone.

"Aww, the glasses were cute," are the first words out of her mouth. "—um! I mean, your eyewear choices are your own, obviously! And you look really nice!"

She blushes a bit and smiles down at her feet. "Thank you. Um, I'll keep that in mind for next time." Oh wait she shouldn't assume there'll be a next time uhhhhh. "You look nice too!"

"Thank you!" Tiny blushy wiggle. "...I brought sparkly rocks!"

She puts her book away and takes the rocks out of her purse. There's a variety of options: a really pale white one that almost glows in the sunlight and sparkles only faintly as its rough surface catches the light, a smooth polished tiger's eye, and a trio of dark granitey-looking lumps with slightly different colour variations, one more blue, one more grey, one more red. "I think taking pretty pictures of the white one might be a challenge," she admits.

Daisy scratches the bridge of her nose in what is obviously an aborted anime-style "push the glasses up your nose" pose and says, determinedly, "Challenge accepted."

Oh no she's too cuuuuuute.

Amaryllis bounces a little. "Okay! Let's find a pretty place to take pictures."

"Let's!" Pause. "Um, did you have anywhere specific in mind?"

"Well I was thinking about the places where I took those pictures before but I'm not sure they're quite right, so maybe we could walk around the park and see if we find anywhere better? Somewhere with good light and maybe pretty plants."

"Okay! Sounds good!"

Daisy will... not be the one to suggest holding hands even though it's a date because she would be mortified if Amaryllis refused but she very, very clearly wants to.

Oh no but that means that Amaryllis has to be the one to suggest holding hands if any hands are going to be held here and that sounds terrifying.

...maybe she can just sort of... walk very close by Daisy's side and see how Daisy feels about a hand held out in such a way that holding could commence if she wanted? Advanced seduction skills, but she thinks she might just be up to the task.

...she will be BRAVE. She will. Lightly brush the back of her hand against Amaryllis's?

Goodness. Encouragement???

...perhaps a tentative twining of little finger with little finger?

Oh no. She might actually melt.

Okay. Okay. She said she was going to be brave. She is not looking, she is resolutely not looking, because normal people who are actually brave don't find this a big deal, she will stare on ahead and look at the park and not her hand while she reaches to actually hold Amaryllis's.

Amaryllis is unable to stifle her tiny "eee" as she takes firmer hold of Daisy's hand.

Oh goodness she is so cute Daisy might melt into a puddle and never regain human form.

...but that would mean she is not holding Amaryllis's hands. That would be terrible. So, she will keep human form, and she will not notice the way her face is open into a gigantic grin because she apparently forgot to pay attention to what her face was doing while concentrating on the very important matters of handholding.

Eeeeeeeeeee cute girl cute girl holding hands with cute girl!! This is not a drill!!!!!

Wow they're going to be so bad at looking for good places to take pictures of rocks like this, aren't they.

That's okay. Holding hands with cute girl is its own reward.

It really is! And actually! One of the things Daisy was paying attention to was her surroundings because that was a better distraction from how dumb it is to be embarrassed by holding hands than literally anything else, so she can in fact find good places to take pictures of rocks.

That is good, because Amaryllis is waaaay too busy experiencing the Cute Girl Emotions to check out their surroundings for good lighting and pretty plants.

Daisy can point at a place and lead them there and then.......... face the dilemma of having to cease holding hands in order to take pretty pictures.

Oh no. Terrible.

...she attempts to get a sparkly rock into a picturesque position using only her free hand, but has to desist, blushing and giggling at herself, almost immediately due to the fundamentally ridiculous nature of this enterprise.

...yeah okay this is Objectively Ridiculous and Daisy dissolves into laughter too.
