If you noticeably care about me and are upset about this, and that world's Rúmil'd agree to therapy if Midnight indicated that was an outcome he approved of, he has something we want. We should probably not make him aware of that. 

I would not actually be very motivated by a bribe of "telling somebody to let me therapize them", it's not really how I think about it.

If it were just the me that was damaged and an otherwise normal Arda I'd be suggesting we ask the King to bring the me into the loop on the multiverse and alts and thereby establish your trustworthiness. If his stated reason for not wanting tampering was that you were a random stranger.
