"Some worlds are next to each other. Almost all forms of interdimensional transit can only go to adjacent worlds, and the sole exception found only works within a single step of a specific world so it only saves you one hop."

"So Arda is next to Warp and Materia, and Warp's also next to Materia, or none of this would have worked..."

"Well, 'Arda' is a recurring theme and you'll have to name it something else, but yes, that's what it looks like. I'd rather not go through Materia again, that was nerve-wracking, but if my teleport were working I'd see if this world is adjacent to any of the ones I know, and if it's not I would try your Arda, and then once I was on the map I'd know how to get wherever I wanted to be and everyone would know how to come find you guys."

"We could name it after something Bella invented that probably none of the other ones have! Like glass! Or the wheel!"

"...they figure out glass and the wheel later on. Everybody else's Arda is older than yours."

"Are they at the part where I do horrible prophecied things?"

"Kill a lot of people in Alqualondë, light some boats on fire..."

"That has happened in some Ardas. Other ones somebody gets there in time to throw it off."

"Yeah but I don't like thinking that I would have been a mass murderer if not for Bella, it sort of suggests that I'm a mass murderer under the right circumstances and I don't want to be the sort of person who'd do that under any circumstances, I don't want to just have gotten lucky..."

"Does it help at all that you don't have this characteristic when you pop up in non-Arda settings?"

"There are mes in worlds that aren't Ardas?"

"Yeah. Human ones."

"You should tell us about all of the worlds, right now."

"First I'm going to run a couple quick tests to make sure that leaving Materia un-broke my innate magic, and if it did I'm going to replace my computer because the one I had with me when I went there was buried as a hazardous material, and then I'm going to write up an interim report for the rest of the peal of Bells, and then we can explain worlds to each other. Also, Bella, you need a nickname, 'Bella' is redundant with two of the others."

"I could have gone with 'Wizard' or 'Arcana' or something but I figure 'Boots' is likelier to never crash into somebody else's obvious nickname choice..."

"Probably. The other Bellas go by Gem and Golden. Rest of us just go by whatever we were already using - I'm Cam, there's also Loki and Iobel and Kib."
