"I know how to make most of those things but I'm not sure you have the ingredients! What do you have in your city with all the humans in it?"

"Uh... I would expect a smaller selection of grains up north here, and less fish and maybe no seaweed. You can get better greens down south, more so in Cloudbreak but still better in East Anemone Bay than up here, and also Elit City is just bigger than Thelm Ret. We've got... do you want me to think about foods I've eaten and you can read my mind about it?"

"For bread I need flour. Wheat flour, if you do it with rice or potatoes or something it doesn't work right. For ice cream or a lot of other stuff I'd need milk, from cows or goats. Eggs come from chickens."

"How do you get milk from cows or goats?"

"Uh, this part I haven't done firsthand but I think you wean the calf or the kid early and then milk them by hand?"

"Huh. Okay. I don't think it's worth buying an entire cow or goat just to try 'ice cream'."

"There are a lot of things you can do with milk but that's your prerogative."

"Like what else?"

"Butter. Cheese - that I don't know how to do, unfortunately, there's a ton of different kinds and I never learned any of them, but milk's what you start with and cheese is amazing. Cream's good in sauces and soups and stuff. You can just drink it straight. I guess it's possible most people here are allergic, it happens sometimes on my native planet."
