Edie was perusing the latest correspondence from her fork. She still should have been paying enough attention to realize that the door didn't go where it ought before it swung shut and she couldn't sense anyone else anymore, but she wasn't.
After opening and closing the door a couple times to make sure she hadn't just been abducted somehow, she looks around.
"I talked to Maitimo about what he already had and a dyslexia patch that superimposed a dyslexia-friendly alphabet on any Tengwar he saw came up and I was wondering how much of a headache it would be to generalize that to other languages and scripts."
"Something of a headache? A couple months' project, at least, but engagement blessings are allowed to take that long."
"I'd probably want to start with just one, and...almost certainly not English."
"Shouldn't matter if you have a large enough database to work with, but if there are other languages he'll want it makes sense to start with one you can do straightforwardly."

"Then don't worry too much about correspondence between his alphabet and the English alphabet, just have a corpus of English words with phonetic spellings."

So he shows her the standard library for vision overlays, and walks her through some really simple sample blessings and a good blessing testing environment and so forth.

Eventually she finds her fiance and suggests that they might want to check in on the engineers at some point in the nearish future.
It's been long enough since we last provided food that we should probably check if they're eating enough.
I've got the syncing thing now, it pings me when it's been three weeks for them.
