Edie was perusing the latest correspondence from her fork. She still should have been paying enough attention to realize that the door didn't go where it ought before it swung shut and she couldn't sense anyone else anymore, but she wasn't.
After opening and closing the door a couple times to make sure she hadn't just been abducted somehow, she looks around.
...Small children should be around other small children. I was going to wait to bring up the possibility of another--in like five or more years--but it could be relevant to room number.
"...Something communal, a kitchen, at least one preferably two bathrooms..."
"Okay, thank you. Is there some highly convenient feature that means out stuff is already there or do we have to figure out who to ask to help us move?"

A little while after that Edie goes looking for Findekano again.
