"Yeah. Usually we go to a currency exchange in the airport but we were running to catch the plane, and I don't know if any banks are open this late but we can look. And I think I passed a school on the way here..."

"Let's go try there then?" Ant suggests.

Nod. She wraps her arms around herself a bit, then starts trying to retrace her steps.

Her feet hurt, her nice white flats that she doesn't wear much causing blisters. One of them's popped and really hurts.

There's a school not too far, though it's getting to be firmly nighttime when she finds it. She learns later it's not the school she passed, but that doesn't really matter because this one is dark and locked.

Bina starts breathing really, really fast, feeling faint and dizzy and like she's gonna throw up.

"Hey, hey," Ant puts eir hand on Bina's back. "It's okay. You're going to be okay. We'll get through this."

She nods, bends over a bit, and tries to get her breathing under control.

She doesn't throw up, at least.

"So. A currency exchange," she mutters. "I - I think that'd be good. Then I could get a rickshaw back home, they'll know where to go... I'll have to find someone to ask..."

"Alright. That's the spirit." Ant pauses, looks at Bina's feet. "Would you like a piggyback?"

"I think I would. I'm not sure if that'd work. You're not here yet."

"Worth a shot, right?" Ant turns and crouches down slightly.

Bina climbs on eir back.

It's a bit awkward, but Bina doesn't go crashing to the ground, so.

So they do this. "Which way?" Ant asks, looking around as though that'll give em a clue.

"I go down the hill, to ask the man I found where I can change money," she says, kind of muffled.

"Alright then." Off they can go. Ant starts singing quietly as ey walks - nonsense tunes mostly.

They're able to find the man - Bina has a bit of trouble talking to him, they have different accents and different ideas of 'currency' versus 'money'. He tells them that there's a currency exchange two blocks over that way, by the Western Union, but they might be closed.

Bina yells "Thank you," then, to Ant, "We gotta go fast, they're just closing up when I get there and I don't want to be late. Maybe also with you here the woman there's less suspicious of me, I don't know if people can see you but she thinks I might've stolen the money I have, and the questions are frustrating but I'm able to get the money changed and get a cab back anyways..."

Ant nods. "Alright then, hold on." And starts running in the direction they were directed. (Ey has perhaps surprisingly good balance. Not really being here is helpful for some things.)

It's not the bank.

It's the laundromat.

"This is wrong," says Bina. "This didn't happen."

"-Neither did I," Ant points out, but looks perturbed. "But- this isn't- wherever this is. This is- this is the laundromat my sister works at."

" - Wait, is your sister by any chance a tall redhead," Bina asks, distracted from freaking out at the bad place.

Ant winces a little. "I- yeah. That's Ira."

"Do. You know why she's doing - everything?" Bina shivers.

"Not all of it. But- I died. And well. She'd already proven she'd do anything for me. So- I guess- I dunno. Trying to get me back? I don't know how just-"

She thinks about Gran, who shouldn't have died because it's unfair

"Yeah. Yeah, I think - that sounds like a reason."

There's a footstep behind them.

Ant half turns to look.

Bina, but older, her hands in the pockets of a blue coat, with grey pants and blue boots and hat and a red scarf around her neck. She's studying them, and feels very, very different from the Bina Ant's familiar with.

Ant looks between the two Binas, a little surprised, a lot wary.
