"It's pretty. What instrument is it?"

"Violin. It's a stringed instrument, there's the wooden part that's hollow and the strings that have to vibrate just right."

"Mmm, yeah." She thinks for a second then sketches the shape in the air with her hands. "And it looks like this?"

"Yeah. There are a few like it, cello, bass, and the guitar- there were more recent updates to that model."

"Cool. Do you have any other music?"

"Something loud, fast, slow? Pick your poison."

"Something fast!"

He plays "Camisado" by Panic! at the Disco.

He kind of gets into it. The dance is just too amazing to reproduce in text.

Heeee. This is great.

"We don't have music like that! Listening to more of your music is definitely going on the list."

"You might want to ask more than one person what to listen to. I'll try to get you an overview. Hmm. Scott should be home by now, I'll go check downstairs. You can check out the bathroom and bedroom and that whole situation, see how it compares."

"Okay."

Off to tour the aforementioned rooms! Anything uniquely special about them?

Mostly standard. If she's used to indoor plumbing and beds, they're not that exciting.

Beds are standard enough, indoor plumbing and running water is newish, but easy enough to figure out. Okay. Downstairs to the others, then.

There's Scott.

"I heard you wanted to learn more about werewolves."

"You heard correctly."

"Okay. Where do you want to start? Local politics, strengths, weaknesses..."

"Isaac gave me a rundown of physical characteristics. Why don't we start with politics?"

"Do werewolves have politics?"

"Packs usually have politics, we have less of that here. But we have hunters to deal with."

"Hunters are people who kill werewolves, right?"

"The major players are Derek Hale, Chris and Allison Argent, Mrs. Morrell, Peter Hale, and us. There's also a new pack in town, but we don't know much about them." 

"Who's who, in that list? I've only met like four people in this town."

"Derek is my alpha- was my alpha? Peter was Scott's, he killed Derek's sister, also his niece, then Derek killed him. He just does things. The Argents hunt werewolves, stay away from them. Mrs. Morrell is just our guidance counselor, not sure why she makes the cut." 

"She and Dr. Deaton are brother and sister, and they're in the same line of work. I don't know the full story. Dr. Deaton is a druid, they do magic, sort of."

"Sounds complicated. What's the latest drama? I'm assuming with all those players there is more or less always something happening."
