It is quite obvious that the people of Cheliax are lacking examples of how to behave in accordance with Good. Well, who better to model ourselves after than the Empyreal Lords of Heaven, the afterlife of both Law and Good? Let us, then, briefly contemplate a number of these paragons of virtue:
• Dammerich, the Archon of Executions, sends his followers to kill the guilty and chastise those who set them free.
• Falayna, the Archon of Femininity, has dedicated herself to martial training and preparation for war.
• Ghenshau, the Archon of Ignorance, abandoned his efforts to comprehend the universe, in favor of placidity and simplicity.
• Kelinakat, the Archon of Spies, She of the Ebon Wings, favors the use of guile, subterfuge, and shadow magic to acquire secrets.
• Lymnieris, the Angel of Prostitution, dwells in the Palace of Delectation, where visitors are greeted by courtesans of surpassing beauty and sensitivity.
• Neshen, the Angel of Suffering, known as the Knight of the Steel Lash, torments repentant evildoers.
• Ragathiel, the Angel of Vengeance, son of Dispater, is legendary for his wrath and war-making.
• Vildeis, the Angel of Sacrifice, tore out her own eyes so that she would not have to look upon evil.
These eight, of course are not all the Empyreal Lords of Heaven, as your author is too ignorant to even attempt to list them all. But be assured, gentle reader, this is an accurate, though necessarily brief and incomplete, description of eight Lawful and Good beings of divine power residing in the same Heaven as Iomedae.
