Simplicio: I am Simplicio, the foolish inquirer.
Arcanatri: I am Arcanatri, the Great Wizard of Nexland, a city where all is done by Spell and Sorcery.
Simplicio: How is Justice done in your city of Nexland?
Arcanatri: I am a Great Wizard. With my Spells the Criminal is conjured before me.
Simplicio: Does the City Watch then search for evidence and question the associates to be sure the correct Criminal has been found?
Arcanatri: Unnecessary. I am a Great Wizard, my Spell makes no error.
Simplicio: Is Justice done solely based on one Spell?
Arcanatri: Nonsense. Justice requires a Trial where the Criminal speaks a confession to all.
Simplicio: What of Criminals who do not confess and instead defend themselves?
Arcanatri: I possess spells of Enchantment which compel the will to follow my suggestion. There is never a Trial where the Criminal does not confess.
Simplicio: Is it right to base Justice on the power of Spells that only few understand?
Arcanatri: A City Watch may fail to find an hiding Criminal and a Magistrate may be fooled by a lying Criminal, while Spells make no such error. Nexland Justice is the superior system.
Simplicio: Could a Great Wizard not, desiring to be rid of some inconvenient rival, conjure him in place of a Criminal and by Enchantment compel him to confess?
Arcanatri: A great wizard would never do such a thing. For your own good, I must Suggest that you do not make such accusations and instead realize I am correct.
Simplicio: I now see the Error of my Ways. Justice can be gained by means of Spells. Any who doubt Great Wizards are fools befitting the name Simplicio.
