"That's all we need from you. You're free to go. If you come by any information on either of those, it would be appreciated if you reported it to the Watch in Zeres, or any of Zeres' embassies." Not that he really expects it.

And he'll show Blai out to where the Kheltians are waiting.

"Thank you for waiting," Blai tells his escort, "I'm free to go."

Once they're out, "Would you like a flight to Liscor, or do you want to go your own way from here?"

"I've been offered a teleport, I'll call Xrn and arrange that and should thereafter not require your attendance."

When he calls Xrn, she says he'll have to be outside Zeres for pickup, preferably a good distance from the walls. Antinium aren't welcome in the city and showing her face too close would be taken as threatening.

Yup, they can take a hike.

And in an out-of-the-way spot, Xrn appears in a loud crack. She nods to the escort, who are definitely memorizing her appearance, and holds out a hand for the teleport back.

This is not his first teleport. Handhold.

And then they're outside the gates of Liscor. Their sudden appearance turns heads, and the guards seem to recognize him.

"The city tore down part of your building for safety reasons, and some of the recovered materials are deposited at the Merchant's Guild under your name," Xrn reminds Blai. "I have updates but it can wait until you're settled."

"...how much of the building is left, do I need to get an inn room again?"

"Around half of it is intact. I haven't taken inventory of the furnishings."

"But which half?"

"Not shown, but they put a tarp over everything to stave off the elements," Xrn says.

"I can sleep in my office until it's rebuilt, I suppose."
