He's too close, but she can't make herself pull away...

She forces herself to change back, attempting to push her wolf away.

"It's okay. You don't have to change back. This is perfect."

Nope. She pushes him back hard and kisses him, hands gripping his shoulders with her superior strength.

He kisses her back. Not that it would stop her.

She climbs on top of him, still holding him down, and moves down to his throat and kisses him there.

He's not one to reject kisses.

He is thoroughly kissed.

She wants him. He's hers. He belongs to her.

Her nails sharpen and her teeth grow longer. The wolf at the forefront of her mind.

"Matt..." she manages.

"I love you, Juliet."

He kisses her.

Of course he does.

So she pulls back and bites him.

He screams. He screams like he's dying, like he's dying again, like he's finally dying, like maybe this is real-

She shuts him up with more kisses and starts crying.

"Love you," he mumbles, and then he doesn't say anything more.

He strokes her hair, and bleeds.

She sobs and holds him tight.

His breathing hitches, and stops.

She starts shaking him, tries to take away his pain. Anything.

No no nonononono. She starts screaming and sobbing, shouting his name.

Nothing.

This can't be happening. This isn't happening.

Her wolf rises to the surface again.

Juliet tries again, trying to take this back. She pulls and pulls, trying to find something.

He coughs, spitting up water.

"Matt. Oh god- you were. You weren't breathing. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I love you, please don't leave me. I'm sorry, sorry." She starts sobbing again.

“No, ‘m fine,” he mumbles, but he seems out of it.

"You died. I killed you."

“Mmm.”

He tries to kiss her.

She lets him kiss her but continues to cry.

“It’s okay. I’m still here.”
