He doesn't say anything for a little while, just continues trying to wrap his head around it. He holds his breath for a few seconds, which does seem to help him get his breathing steady again.

His flames die down some. "S'fine," he says, half trying to convince himself. "S'fine"

"It is, really. She's not going to hurt you. And if you want to leave anyway, you can."

He shakes his head a little. Because, despite the confusion, and complete inability to fully reconcile the idea of Pradnakt being a Sith and how nice she's been: "I- this- best place 've been?"

"All right." She offers him a hug, apparently not bothered by the continued flames.

He gestures slightly. "Don't want to-" Another gesture, attempting to indicate 'damage'.

"It won't hurt me."

As she speaks, Pradnakt comes around the bend in the path, moving at considerable speed - much faster than a human can normally run. She stops short when she sees them sitting on the ledge, and stares for a moment before plopping to the ground to sit crosslegged, staring at the dirt a few feet beyond her knees.

He flinches at Pradnakt's sudden appearance, flames briefly flaring almost out of control, before he notices that she's not coming any closer.

"I-" he starts, glances to Daisy, with no idea what to do here. "I'm sorry?"

It's fine. She told you, right?

He nods slowly. Yes.

I'm sorry.

That gets a startled, confused response. ...Why?

"Not okay to lie to you like that. Even if there wasn't really a better way."

He's still and silent for a minute, trying to figure out the words he needs. "I- would've been. Worse. Sooner?" he points out quietly. (Especially, he thinks, if she'd told him when Nine wanted her to.)

She relaxes, some, at that. "Yeah. But the best bad thing still is bad. So. I'm sorry."

"I- it's...okay?" (It's worth noting that his flames appear to be calming down.)

"Okay."

"Do you want to stay?"

He ducks his head, twists his fingers together. "I- yes? I-If that's okay? I- like it? here?"

The rest of the tension drains out of her, and she grins. "Of course it's okay."

He gives a small, shy smile. He's still getting used to people wanting him around without seeming to really want anything from him.

She hops back up to her feet and goes over to him. "Hug?"

He looks like the answer would probably be yes, except...

He waves one still flaming hand slightly. "I- don't want to..."

"Fair enough." She sits next to him, close enough that he won't have trouble closing the gap if he changes his mind, not so close as to risk accidental scorching. "Thank you, by the way, Love," she tells Daisy.

    "Of course."

He seems fairly content perched near them, and does scoot a little closer when he's sure he's not at risk of scorching anyone.

"So, do you have any questions? I'm not really typical for a Sith, most of the answers probably are going to be 'yes, most of us really are that bad'."
