"He seemed alright to me. And he has Lydia, Danny and Brian, doesn't he?"

"Lydia's as much of a bitch as he is, I don't know why Danny puts up with them."

"Hmm. Danny doesn't like me much."

Science ensues! Today they'll be reviewing the scientific method.

"I don't doubt it. But. We're all bitches here, Erica."

Erica doesn't disagree.

They proceed to not do science.

Juliet is listening to the teacher, but also Erica Exists.

"So apart from the bitch thing, do you have any idea why Danny wouldn't like me?"

"Did you say anything bad about Jackson? Guess not, if he likes you. I don't think Danny hates anyone."

"I mean, I may have misread him. But... I am very good at reading people." She shrugs. "I suppose it doesn't matter. He hasn't done anything to me. Just vibes."

"I don't know, maybe he's worried you're going to steal all the hot guys."

"There are a lot of hot guys at this school. Also hot girls, but that's definitely not gonna be Danny's problem."

"No, then you'll just piss off Jackson."

"That sounds like something I'd like to see."

"Your call, girl. If you want him and his girlfriend and their boyfriend after you, it's on you."

"Oh. Yeah, that's sounds less fun." She pauses, does some science, then, "What about you? Anyone I should avoid for your sake?"

Blink.

"No one who's interested in me."

"I'd like to avoid upsetting you regardless..." She finishes her Science, "I don't know, if you see me heading in that direction, jab me in the ribs or something. We don't have to talk about it."

"Okay. Thanks."

Soon enough, science class is finished with her.

"I'll probably be sitting with Boyd at lunch today. Unless you wanna join, I'll see you tomorrow?"

"I could join if he doesn't mind."

"I'd like that. See you then, Erica."

To art she goes.
